AI as a permanent sparring partner to the board
KIS Group, one of the largest Dutch players in lifting technology and crane building, pairs AI strategy with concrete implementation together with MS618.
Who is KIS Group
KIS Group is one of the largest Dutch players in lifting and hoisting technology and crane building, with multiple locations and business units.
The challenge
AI changes faster than a board agenda can keep up with. The question was not whether KIS should do something with AI, but what to do and what to skip, and how to get from insight to application without getting stuck in scattered pilots.
The approach
An ongoing sparring track at board level: connecting strategic choices to concrete, practical applications. No reports for the drawer, but deciding each time what the next sensible step is and actually taking it. Among other things, we worked on:
- Website: strengthening the group’s online foundation
- LinkedIn: building visibility and the employer brand where the audience is
- AI strategy and implementation: from setting direction to actually embedding it in the organisation
- Presentations: taking the organisation along in what AI will and will not mean
The result
Concrete progress, time after time: AI that actually lands in the business instead of staying an intention.
